Elizabeth Ogilvie

Marketing Director/Senior Paralegal

Elizabeth is a former construction litigator and a skilled marketing communications professional with more than twenty years experience in marketing, and fifteen years experience working with law firms. She’s the key creative engine at Horn Williamson with first-hand experience litigating construction defect cases and commercial disputes. Joining Horn Williamson in a dual capacity enables Elizabeth to combine her professional experience and personal interests, shaping marketing strategy while assisting attorneys and homeowners with client matters. Working with firm leaders and team members, she develops and implements firm-wide marketing, communication and business development initiatives.

Elizabeth practiced law in Seattle, Washington before moving to Philadelphia to pursue a career in marketing and public relations. Prior to joining Horn Williamson, she worked at a Philadelphia area construction law boutique as a Communications and Marketing Specialist and was Principal in her own marketing communications practice. She volunteers with the Metro Philadelphia Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association, serving as Newsletter Editor (2012-2013) and as Secretary to the Board (2014-2016).

When she’s not in the office, you can find Elizabeth working in her urban deck gardens, chasing after her one-year old son, or walking her Tibetan Terrier around Philadelphia.
