Dan supports the Horn Williamson construction practice and its clients in all phases of litigation including, discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, settlement negotiations and trial. His extensive experience and personal interest in eData ensures our litigation practice has a comprehensive knowledge base and a practical understanding of eDiscovery technology and ESI (electronically stored data).

In addition to more than twenty years of civil litigation practice, Dan has worked as in-house counsel and as a litigation claims specialist for a major commercial insurance carrier on a variety of matters. His in-depth knowledge of insurance contractual language, informs Dan’s coverage analysis, as well as his liability determinations.

Dan is a problem solver who embraces opportunities to learn and engage.  Whether he is analyzing factual scenarios, researching a question of law, or pouring over discovery details, clients appreciate Dan’s proactive and detailed approach to his work. Dan is a responsive, professional, communicator, who takes great pride his well-organized, timely, work product.

Some of Dan’s recent successes include:

  • Recovered monies owed by a subcontractor to a small business client by arguing that bankruptcy protection is not a shared privilege of partnership. The bankruptcy of one partner did not protect the subcontractor from a judgment for monies owed the client.
  • Effectively managed and counseled a Fortune 500 60-attorney document review team, analyzing more than 1 million electronic documents. Project delivered on time and under budget.

Performing with many local and international artists over the last ten years, Dan is an accomplished reggae musician performing around the Greater Philadelphia Area. He recently won first prize in a singing competition in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
